So....I spent most of the morning going to stores prepping for dinner on Thursday. To know me, is to know that this would have been done last week normally, but, hey....that's a different story.
Checking over my list, I realized that I paid for something that I did not get at good old Walmart..bacon. Lol. Here goes:
Me: Ma'am, I was here earlier this morning and I did not receive this item, the bacon. *Points to item on receipt.
Cashier: So, this item is in the middle of the receipt and you didn't get it?
Me Outside: Correct.
Me Inside: This lady thinks I'm lying..*chuckles inside. Whatever.
Cashier: I'll be right back. *Goes to cash register...sashays back and says, well..its not there. Me Inside: (Duh, its been a few hours, why would bacon be at a register? Laughing on the inside again...) * hands me the receipt and tells me to go and get another one.
Me: No problem. I return with no bacon and tell her that they were out.
Cashier: Rolls eyes, gives me cash, and mumbles Happy Thanksgiving...
LOL! Now, I ended up having to go to another store for the bacon, but it was on sale at a huge discount. Yas!
So...don't let your shopping be a hindrance to your holiday plans. ♡
