Bearing Each Others Burden

It breaks my heart when people "lord" the issues of others over their head or are overly and unproductively critical of people instead of walking out the journey with them. This tells me that many have forgotten their own weaknesses and sins as well as the grace and mercy that God has bestowed upon their lives. One issue is not any better than the other....weaknesses are called weaknesses for a reason. It is an area to be strengthened.

SO many believers are in bondage because they cannot find a SAFE place to really reveal their issues and begin the process of healing. Instead, we have buildings full of hurting people going through the motions of church, yet not experiencing the healing that God has provided through the confessions of our sins and issues to one another. Not only has the body condemned people to the closet, but they are holding the key as well!

... My prayer: Dear heavenly Father, we repent for the callous and self-centered nature that has been exhibited. Soften our hearts and show us how we can be a help to our brothers and sisters and not a hindrance. Let the strong bear the infirmities of the weak. Show us ourselves. Allow us to see Your children as You see us. We ask for Your grace to awaken us to a heightened state of love, honor, and COMPASSION for each other that will allow us to heal from within and change the world.

Scriptures: Romans 15:1 states: "We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves."

Galatians 6:3 states: "Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ."

~Their issue may not be your issue, but you need to treat them like you would want to be treated.~ If you cannot understand- don't compose a passive aggressive facebook post or don't get on the phone to call your friends....go somewhere- SIT DOWN and pray. If you can't pray.....well....that's another issue altogether.
