All of the serious physical attacks, verbal attacks, and childish & petty behavior during this election has really shown the heart condition of this country.
Disowning folks based on their voting preference. Name calling on a level that has so much anger, racism, and/evil intent behind it that it makes one shudder. Unfriending folks. False prophesy. Pride. BOTH SIDES. ALL SIDES. ANY SIDE.
There are but a few people listening. Most are listening with a prepared reply, which translates into not listening at all. Folks doing half hearted research, not looking for truth...but only looking to confirm their truth. Sigh.
No matter who wins, this nation will need healing on a deeper level because the pain has been deeply inflicted and won't just go away. We are deeply divided. We can transition through our disagreements. It will take a lot of work. Humility. True listening. Perspective. Insight. With God help, we can. I believe that.
